Answer The Call

According to Scripture, we have been elected by the free will of God to be His people. His election is based totally on his grace. The Apostle Peter exhorts believers to be exceptionally diligent to make our call and election sure. Every believer has a place in the body of Christ and in that place, they must answer the call upon their lives. A life of peace is contingent upon answering the call to worship, witness, and work. There is only one of two responses to the call of God: One response is obedience and the other, is disobedience. No one can run from the call. In the case of Jonah, it appeared that he was running from God but according to Scripture, he was living in disobedience. God's persistence nullified his efforts to escape the presence of the Lord.

Connect with one of our congregations and answer the call of God to worship God in spirit and in truth, to witness to Christ in word and deed, and to work for the Kingdom.
